Mohammed Laouli is an artist engaged with the phenomena that cross, differentiate or mark society. He explores his vision and consciousness, traveling through the streets and the wastelands. His approach includes a second perspective, a critical regard on the political, cultural and economic systems of power that surround him, especially the postcolonial relations between France and Morocco. Mohammed lives and works in Marseille, Morocco and Salé.
Recent solo exhibitions include La vitrine ART cade, Marseille; Zeppelinmuseum Friedrichshafen, Germany; and Galerie Lisi Hämmerle, Bregenz, Austria. Upcoming group exhibitions include Moroccan Trilogy at Reina Sofia Museum, Madrid and Déplacer l’horizon at Centre Photographique, Marseille.
